Royal oaks

Duarte () is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 21,321, down from 21,486 at the 2000 census.It is bounded to the north by the San Gabriel Mountains, to the north and west by the cities of Bradbury and Monrovia, to the south by the city of Irwindale, and to the east by the cities of Irwindale and Azusa.

Rancho Azusa de Duarte was a 6,596-acre (26.69 km2) Mexican land grant in present day Los Angeles County, California given in 1841 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Andres Duarte, a former Mexican corporal. Cities that have been established on the Rancho lands originally granted to Andres Duarte include Arcadia, portions of Monrovia, all of Bradbury, all of Duarte, portions of Irwindale, portions of Azusa and a portion of Baldwin Park.

Irwindale is an at-grade light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. It is located near the intersection of Irwindale Street and Avenida Padilla in Irwindale, California. This station is served by the Metro Gold Line.This station was constructed as part of the Gold Line Foothill Extension project Phase 2A.
