Southgate walk

Grovelands Park is a public park in Southgate and Winchmore Hill, London, that originated as a private estate. The park is Grade II* listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.Grovelands, the house on the western side of the park, is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England.

Enfield Southgate is a constituency in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. It was created in 1950, and has been represented since 2017 by Bambos Charalambous, a member of the Labour Party. Between 1979 and 2017 the seat was a bellwether (its winner was affiliated to the winning party nationally) with two exceptions: in 2005 it leant more to the right than the national result and in 2017 more to the left than the minority-government Conservatives.

Ashmole Academy (formerly Ashmole School) is a secondary school with academy status in Southgate, England in the London Borough of Barnet. Under the direction of the headteacher Derrick Brown, around 1,500 pupils (380 in the Sixth form) are educated in ages 11–18.Pupils come from a wide range of minority ethnic heritages and a greater than usual number of pupils speak English as an additional language.

Salcombe Preparatory School is a co-educational preparatory school for approximately 200 pupils, located in Southgate, London, England. The school is currently owned and operated by Cognita. Founded in 1916, Salcombe is a co-educational preparatory day school for children aged between 3 and 11. The school is located in Chase Side, Southgate, and Green Road, Oakwood, both in North London.

Oakwood is an affluent suburban area of north London, in the London Borough of Enfield. It is situated within the Southgate postal area (London N14) and was, historically, the southernmost area of Enfield Chase.

Osidge is a district in the London Borough of Barnet, between Brunswick Park and Southgate, just west of the border with the London Borough of Enfield. It may be defined as the part of postal district N14 that is in Barnet. Osidge has no formal border and is entirely enclosed within the electoral ward of Brunswick Park; however Oak Hill Park forms a natural boundary to the North and Pymmes Brook to the West, with the A111 to the East and the Piccadilly line to the South/East.

Highlands Hospital was a hospital in Winchmore Hill, in the London Borough of Enfield. The hospital closed in 1993, and the site was developed for residential accommodation, although many of the original buildings remain. The site is designated a conservation area and the former ambulance station is a grade II listed building.

Minchenden School was a mixed secondary school situated in Southgate, North London, established in 1919 with 90 pupils. Established in 1919, it merged with Arnos School in 1984.

St Paul's Church in Winchmore Hill, London Borough of Enfield, was built as a Waterloo church on land donated from the Grovelands estate. The church ceiling was said to be the largest unsupported expanse of plasterwork in Europe until its renovation in the 1960s introduced concealed supports.

Southgate is a London Underground Piccadilly line station in Southgate. It is located between Arnos Grove and Oakwood stations and is in Travelcard Zone 4.
