This route in the Dahlonega’s Yahoola creek park highlights the creek, forest and two hill climbs. The trail is a mix of pavement and small gravel. The first three quarters of a mile are on level ground and give scenic views of Yahoola creek and the historic McDonald House. The route then heads up the forest trail for the first hill climb that lasts about a quarter of a mile. The following mile starts in the forest then heads back to the pavement where you climb the second hill to the softball complex.
The park has multiple bathrooms, two playgrounds and many areas to sit and enjoy the scenery.
