Walpole Park is a municipal urban public open space run by London Borough of Ealing Council. Its main entrance is situated in the Mattock Lane, Ealing, West London.In 1987 it was registered by English Heritage on the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England.It is some 28 acres (110,000 m2) in size.

Pitzhanger Manor

Soane intended it as a country villa for entertaining and eventually for passing to his elder son. 2001 Ealing bombing

On 3 August 2001, the Real IRA, a dissident Irish republican organisation and splinter of the Provisional IRA, detonated a car bomb containing 100 lb (45 kg) of homemade plastic explosives in Ealing Broadway, West London, England. The bomb was in a grey Saab 9000 near the train station, restaurants and pubs, which exploded shortly after midnight, injuring seven people.
