Monument to Alexander Pushkin in Rostov-on-Don ― a statue in the center of Rostov-on-Don. It is situated at the intersection of Pushkinskaya Street and Voroshilov Avenue. The author of the monument is Gavriil Schultz (and the architect is Mihail Minkus). The monument was erected in 1959. Later, the square where it stands was decorated with lanterns of 19th century style.

The Chekhov Monument (Russian: Памятник А. П. Чехову) in Rostov-on-Don, Russia is a bronze monument erected in 2010 to commemorate the 150th anniversary since birthday of the Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. Маркса) is the main public library of Rostov Oblast that is situated in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

Rostov-on-Don Hippodrome (Russian: Ростовский ипподром) is a horse racing track in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. It is one of the oldest hippodromes in Southern Russia.

The Petrov Mansion (Russian: Особняк Петрова) is a building in Rostov-on-Don, at 115 Pushkinskaya Street. The house was built at the end of the 19th century, to the design of the Rostov architect N.A. Doroshenko. Since 1959 in the mansion Rostov Regional Museum of Fine Arts is placed. The building has the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional value.

Nikolai Paramonov mansion (Russian: Особняк Николая Парамонова) is a mansion in the city of Rostov-on-Don. It was built in 1914 for book publisher Nikolai Paramonov. The mansion was designed by architect Leonid Aeberg. The building is currently occupied by the Y.A. Zhdanov Scientific Library of Southern Federal University.

The Southern Federal District (Russian: Ю́жный федера́льный о́круг, tr. Yuzhny federalny okrug, IPA: [ˈjuʐnɨj fʲɪdʲɪˈralʲnɨj ˈokrʊk]) is one of the eight federal districts of Russia. Its territory lies mostly on the Pontic-Caspian steppe of southern Russia. The Southern Federal District shares borders with Ukraine, the Azov Sea, and the Black Sea in the west, and Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea in the east.
