Filarmoniya Bağı (Filarmonia Park or Philharmonia Garden), sometimes called Gubernator's or Governor's Park, is a park in Baku, Azerbaijan, next to Baku fortress.The park was established beginning in 1830; ship's captains coming from Iran were asked to bring a sack of soil to add to it. It was extended in the 1860s and 1870s to 4.6 hectares (11 acres) and originally called Mixaylov bağı, Mikhaelovsky Garden, after the governor.

Baku State University (BSU); (Azerbaijani: Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (BDU)) is a public university located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Established in 1919 by the Parliament of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the University started with faculties of history and philology, physics and mathematics, and law and medicine, with an initial enrollment of 1094.

The Alley of Honor (Azerbaijani: Fəxri Xiyaban, Honorary Allée) is a public cemetery and memorial in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Alley includes burials of famed Azerbaijanis and Azerbaijan-affiliated expatriates, including several Presidents, scientists and artists. There are 242 burials in total.

Martyrs' Lane, Alley of Martyrs or Şəhidlər Xiyabanı (transliterated as Shehidler Khiyabani), formerly known as the Kirov Park, is a cemetery and memorial in Baku, Azerbaijan dedicated to those killed by the Soviet Army during Black January 1990 and in the Nagorno-Karabakh War of 1988–1994.

The Baku Turkish Martyrs' Memorial (Turkish: Bakü Türk Şehitleri Anıtı) is a memorial dedicated to the Ottoman soldiers killed during the World War I in Azerbaijan. It is situated within the Martyrs' Lane (Azerbaijani: Şəhidlər Xiyabanı) in Baku. It consists of a monument, an alley with name plates of the martyrs and a mosque.1,130 Turkish soldiers and officers of the Army of Islam were killed in action in the Battle of Baku of Caucasus Campaign, who fought alongside the Azerbaijani forces against the Bolsheviks–Armenian Dashnaks and Baku Soviets in 1918.

Flame Towers (Azerbaijani: Alov qüllələri) is a trio of skyscrapers in Baku, Azerbaijan, the height of the tallest tower is 182 m (597 ft). Towers representing flames symbolize fire as a sign of Ahura Mazda in Zoroastrianism by Azerbaijanies and Azerbaijan as a birthplace for the prophet Zoroaster.

The Mosque of the Martyrs (Azerbaijani: Şəhidlər məscidi), also popularly known as the Turkish Mosque, is a mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan, near the Martyrs' Lane. The mosque was built in the beginning of the 1990s with assistance of the Turkish government. The mosque currently is used as an official residence of religious attaché of the Turkish embassy.

The Green Theatre (Azerbaijani: Yaşıl teatr) is an open-air theatre in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. The theatre seats 2500 spectators.The theatre was built in the mid-1960s on the initiative of the city's mayor of the time Alish Lambaranski. The Green Theatre was built as a venue intended for important cultural events.
