MSU Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC) (Russian: Факультет вычислительной математики и кибернетики (ВМК)), founded in 1970 by Andrey Tikhonov, is a part of Moscow State University.

Lomonosovsky Prospekt (Russian: Ломоносовский проспект) is a station on the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on 16 March 2017 as part of the line's extension between Park Pobedy and Ramenki. Tunneling between the station and that next from it, Ramenki, started in 2013.

MSU Faculty of Geography (Russian: Географический факультет МГУ) is a faculty of Moscow State University, created in 1938 by order #109 dated 23 July 1938. It is the largest collective of geographers in the world: 780 researchers, 1100 students and 200 post-graduates are working at the facility.

The Moscow State University Materials Science Department (Russian: Факультет наук о материалах МГУ) is a faculty of Moscow State University, founded in 1991 at the base of Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics and Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. Former name of a structure was High School of Materials Science (Высший колледж наук о материалах).

Universitet (Russian: Университе́т, English: University), named after nearby Moscow State University, is a station on the Moscow Metro's Sokolnicheskaya Line. It opened in 1959 and features rectangular white marble pylons and tiled walls. The architects were V. Litvinov, M. Markovsky, L. Lile, and V.

Ramenki District (Russian: район Раменки) is a district in Western Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 18.76 square kilometres (7.24 sq mi). Population: 126,000 (2017 est.) 125,128 (2010 Census); 101,485 (2002 Census).

The Faculty of History is one of the faculties of the Moscow State University. Established at 1934 on the base of the Historical-philological faculty of the university. The dean of the faculty is Sergey Karpov (since 1995).

The Fizfak (Faculty of Physics) of Moscow State University is one of the most esteemed faculties of Moscow State University, widely regarded by students as one of the toughest faculties in the university. It was established in 1933. The current dean of the faculty - Nikolay Sysoev.
