This route takes you around the edge of the park for a total of 1 3/4 miles. You can expect scenic views of the creek and woodlands along this route. The route is paved the whole way except a third of a mile through the woods where the trail is a well maintained gravel. There is one hill climb that is roughly a tenth of a mile long gaining about 80 feet.
There is ample parking. The route takes you by three sets of bathrooms and two playgrounds. There are several places to sit and rest or reflect.
