The Putnei Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Putna-Vrancea Natural Park, declared natural monument since 1973 and situated on the right side of the road from Tg. Secuiesc (or Lepsa) to Focsani.
Easy to reach, you just have to stop the car and start to go down several steps to the waterfall that ends with a lake (there are some kind of parking spaces, an access ladder and a protective fence).
An interesting waterfall, not a classic one but in steps one, with a length of almost 80 meters and the flow according to rainfall.
Families friendly, because the fence is tall and safe for kids. Dogs are not allowed.
A short walk, some nice views of the waterfall, ancient trees with roots that bind to others - it was a good just 30 minutes stop during a long journey by car.
