Expo Genoa

The Aquarium of Genoa (in Italian: Acquario di Genova) is the largest aquarium in Italy . Located in the old harbor area of Genoa, Italy, the 33,000-square-foot (3,100 m2) aquarium is a member organization of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), and welcomes more than 1.2 million visitors each year.

The Basilica della Santissima Annunziata del Vastato is a Catholic cathedral in Genoa, northern Italy; its decoration employed the major baroque studios and artists in Genoa in the 17th century.It is named Vastato because the area where it was built was outside the walls of the city, in an area where houses had been demolished (devastated) for defensive reasons.

Ascensore Castello d'Albertis-Montegalletto (the Albertis Castle – Montegalletto lift) is a combined funicular and lift in Genoa, Italy. It connects via Balbi, near Genova Piazza Principe railway station, to corso Dogali near Albertis Castle, home of the Museo delle Culture del Mondo (Museum of World Cultures).

The Archaeological Museum of Savona (Museo storico archeologico di Savona) is located in Palazzo della Loggia inside the Priamar Fortress. It presents the history of the Priamar promontory and the town of Savona. On the exposition are old collections of objects from around the Mediterranean and artifacts from the 20th century excavations of the fortress and its surrounding (especially ceramic products of the region).

Darsena is a Genoa Metro station, located on Via Antonio Gramsci close to Piazza della Darsena, in Genoa, Italy. Darsena literally means dock in English and the station serves the old port area of the city.This station has the peculiarity of having a very large bright mezzanine which gives the structure an imposing appearance.

L'Esposizione Internazionale Specializzata Genova '92 - Colombo '92 (in English International Exhibition Genoa '92 - Colombo '92) or more informally Expo 1992, held in Genoa, Italy from 15 May to 15 August 1992. The theme was "Christopher Columbus, The Ship and the Sea", and the Expo was timed to celebrate the 500 years since the Discovery of America by the Genoese sailor Christopher Columbus.

The Neptune is a ship replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon. The ship was built in 1985 for Roman Polanski's film Pirates, where she portrayed the Spanish ship of the same name. An accurate replica above the waterline, but sporting a steel hull and a 400 HP auxiliary engine, the Neptune is currently a tourist attraction in the port of Genoa, where its interior can be visited for a 9 euro entry fee.

San Giorgio is a Genoa Metro station in Genoa, Italy. It is located under Piazza della Raibetta beside the Palazzo San Giorgio, after which it is named. It is in the Old Harbour area near the Aquarium of Genoa.

The Palazzo San Giorgio or Palace of St. George (also known as the Palazzo delle Compere di San Giorgio) is a palace in Genoa, Italy. It is situated in the Piazza Caricamento.The palace was built in 1260 by Guglielmo Boccanegra, uncle of Simone Boccanegra, the first Doge of Genoa. For the construction of the new palace, materials were used from the demolition of the Venetian embassy in Constantinople, having been obtained from Byzantine Emperor Michael VIII as a reward for Genoese aid against the Latin Empire.

San Sisto is a Roman Catholic church in Genoa, Italy located in Centro-Est quartiere of Prè, near the railway station of Genova Piazza Principe.
