Hunan University (simplified Chinese: 湖南大学; traditional Chinese: 湖南大學; pinyin: Húnán Dàxué), in Changsha, Hunan province, is a member of Project 985 and Project 211, which are sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China aiming to become a world-class university. It is an elite university, with Chinese Ministry of Education Class B Double First Class University status.

Fubuhe station (Chinese: 阜埠河站; pinyin: Fùbùhé Zhàn) is a subway station in Changsha, Hunan, China, operated by the Changsha subway operator Changsha Metro. It is the largest subway station in Changsha.

The Young Mao Zedong statue is located in Orange Isle (Júzi zhōu), Changsha, Hunan, China. The monument stands 32 metres (105 ft) tall and depicts Mao Zedong's head. The Hunan People's Government began building it in 2007 and it was completed two years later, in 2009. It took more than 800 tons of granite, which were mined from Fujian.

Juzizhou Subdistrict (Chinese: 橘子洲街道; pinyin: Júzizhōu Jiēdào) is a subdistrict of Yuelu District in Changsha, Hunan, China. It is historically the Shuiluzhou Subdistrict (Chinese: 水陆洲街道) formed in 1950s. The subdistrict has an area of 16.02 square kilometres (6.19 sq mi) with a permanent resident population of about 168,000 (as of 2017).

Orange Isle (Chinese: 桔子洲 or 橘子洲; pinyin: Júzi Zhōu) is a isle in Xiang River, Changsha, Hunan, China. It also known by other names, such as Ju Isle (桔洲 or 橘洲; Júzhōu; 'Orange Isle') and Shuilu Isle (simplified Chinese: 水陆洲; traditional Chinese: 水陸洲; pinyin: Shuǐlù Zhōu; literally: 'Amphibious Isle').
