Byron Glacier Trail

At the beginning, the path is very well established from the trailhead to the sign (first 3/4 miles or so), then opens to a gravel riverbed- once a moraine. Evolves into a scramble in this beautiful valley and opens to a section of glacier. Be cautious, as the runoff from above also produces rock falls. This is majestic, at the bare minimum. Standing in millions of years of geological history and glacial retreat makes one pause. This is a glimpse of the big picture. Enjoy!
