Georgia International Plaza is a 6-acre (24,000 m2) green space atop a 2,000-space parking garage in Downtown Atlanta, between the Georgia Dome on the west, the Georgia World Congress Center on the north, Philips Arena on the east and In March 1994 the Georgia General Assembly approved $28 million to build the park.

The Union Station built in 1930 in Atlanta was the smaller of two principal train stations in downtown, Terminal Station being the other (the latter served Southern Railway, Seaboard Air Line, Central of Georgia (including the Nancy Hanks to Savannah), and the Atlanta and West Point). It was the third "union station" or "union depot" (usage varied in the 19th century), succeeding the 1853 station, burned in mid-November 1864 when Federal forces left Atlanta for the March to the Sea, and the 1871 station.

55 Marietta Street, formerly the Fulton National Bank Building and the Bank South Building is a 21-story, 89.9 m (295 ft) office building in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the tallest building in the city when completed in 1958 until surpassed by One Park Tower in 1961. 55 Marietta Street is the site of the U.

The Atlanta Constitution Building, also known as the Georgia Power Atlanta Division Building, is located at the northwest corner of Alabama and Forsyth Streets in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at 143 Alabama Street, SW. It is located in an area known as the "Heart of Atlanta" straddling the railroad gulch ("The Gulch"), "due to [its] proximity to the 'Zero Mile Post' which marked both the Southeastern terminus of the Western and Atlantic railroad and the city's earliest settlement".

101 Marietta Street, formerly Centennial Tower, is a 140 m (460 ft), 36-story skyscraper in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The building was completed in 1975 and renovated in 1998, resulting in a name change, new facade, and chevrons added to the building which increased its original 136 m (446 ft) height by 4 m (13 ft).

The Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center is the ninth largest federal building in the United States and the largest in the southeast. The building houses 5,000 employees for dozens of federal agencies and combines four distinct structural elements in central downtown, equaling 1,870,000 square feet (174,000 m2).

The U.S Post Office and Customs House in Atlanta (also Atlanta's City Hall from 1910 to 1930) was a landmark building located on Marietta Street, occupying the block bounded by Marietta, Fairlie, Walton and Forsyth streets in the Fairlie-Poplar district of Downtown Atlanta. The building opened in 1878.

The World of Sid and Marty Krofft was an entirely indoor amusement park in Atlanta, Georgia. It was based on the various TV shows produced by the sibling duo Sid and Marty Krofft.

Hotel Row is a both National Register and locally listed historic district consisting of one block of early 20th-century commercial buildings, three to four stories high, located on Mitchell Street west of Forsyth Street in the South Downtown district of Atlanta. The buildings were originally hotels with ground level retail shops built to serve the needs of passengers from Terminal Station, opened in 1905.

Five Points Plaza, also known as 40 Marietta Street and formerly known as First Federal Building, is a 17 storey, 73 m (240 ft) office building skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. The building was constructed in 1964 to house headquarters of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Atlanta. Noted for an Oriental architectural design that stands out in Atlanta, the building is devoid of interior columns, making it one of the tallest post-tensioned concrete buildings in the United States at the time of its construction.
