The Silk Road

The Abasto Shopping is one of the biggest shopping mall centers in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The building was the central wholesale fruit and vegetable market in the city ("Mercado de Abasto") from 1893 to 1984. Since 1999, it has served as a shopping mall. It is also famous for being in the area where the tango singer Carlos Gardel, known as El Morocho del Abasto ("the dark-haired guy from Abasto"), lived for most of his life.

Almagro (Spanish pronunciation: [alˈmaɣɾo]) is a mostly middle-class barrio (neighbourhood) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.The neighbourhood is delimited by La Plata avenue and Río de Janeiro street to the west, Independencia avenue to the south, Sánchez de Bustamante, Sánchez de Loria and Gallo streets to the east, and Córdoba/Estado de Israel avenues to the north.

Alberti Norte is a ghost station in the Buenos Aires Underground, which was part of Line A until its closure in 1953. It is one of two ghost stations on the line, the other being Pasco Sur.

The Avenida Theatre (Teatro Avenida) is a theatre in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Agüero is a station on Line D of the Buenos Aires Underground.

Alberti is a station on Line A of the Buenos Aires Underground. Like the Pasco station, it is one of two stations of the line which only has one platform, in this case only serving passengers heading towards San Pedrito. The other platform (the ghost station Alberti Norte) is located just a few meters away, but was closed in 1953 since the proximity of Pasco station meant having so many stops in such quick succession slowed the line's frequency.

Coronel Díaz Avenue is an avenue that marks the limit between the Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and extends northbound, parallel Pueyrredón Avenue. It starts on Soler Street and ends on Castex Street, passing along Las Heras Park and the nearby Alto Palermo Shopping Center.

Palacio Barolo is a landmark office building, located at 1370 Avenida de Mayo, in the neighborhood of Monserrat, Buenos Aires, Argentina. When it was built it was the tallest building in the city. Its twin brother, Palacio Salvo, is a building designed and erected in Eclectic style, but of greater height, built by the same architect in Montevideo.

The University of Palermo (Spanish: Universidad de Palermo, abbreviated as UP) is a private university in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It has several buildings located in different parts of the city. The university offers several educational programs, including a double degree in Management awarded along with the London School of Economics.
