Bitan (Chinese: 碧潭; pinyin: Bìtán; Wade–Giles: Pi4-t'an2), historically called Shi-Bitan (Chinese: 石碧潭; pinyin: Shíbìtán), is a tourist spot in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan. "Bitan" literally means "green lake", referring to where the Xindian River widens to form the lake. There is a well-known suspension bridge that is used only by pedestrians.

Liugongzun (Chinese: 瑠公圳; pinyin: Liúgōngjùn; Wade–Giles: Liu2-kung1-tsun4) is the name of a system of canals and irrigation ditches that once crisscrossed the city of Taipei, Taiwan. Most of the canals were covered over by roads and streets in the 1970s due to increasing volumes of traffic and diminishing necessity of water transportation and irrigation.

The Taipei Metro Xindian station (formerly transliterated as Hsintien Station until 2003) is the southern terminus of the Green Line located in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

The Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park (Chinese: 白色恐怖景美紀念園區; pinyin: Báisè Kǒngbù Jǐngměi Jìniàn Yuánqū) is a museum in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

The National Human Rights Museum is a national museum of Taiwan (Republic of China) with locations in New Taipei City (Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park) and Green Island (Green Island White Terror Memorial Park). The museum was established on March 15, 2018 and opened on May 18, 2018. The museum has collections of documents, research and educational materials relating to the period of martial law in Taiwan and works with museums in Taiwan and internationally.

The Taipei Metro Xiaobitan station is a terminal station on the Xiaobitan Branch Line located in Xindian District, New Taipei, Taiwan.
