Ainslie Park is a football stadium located in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is the home ground of Lowland Football League club Spartans. From the 2017–18 season, Scottish League Two club Edinburgh City will also play at the ground while Meadowbank Stadium is being redeveloped.

East Pilton is a housing scheme in the north of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is located north of Ferry Road, west of Boswall, south of Royston Mains and Wardieburn and east of West Pilton. East Pilton is generally considered to be part of the Granton area.Built on the lands of East Pilton Farm in the 1930s by Glasgow-based builder Mactaggart & Mickel to a street layout by the Edinburgh City Architect Ebenezer James MacRae, the streets mainly take various Crewe and Pilton names.

The Spartans Football Club are a Scottish football club from Edinburgh. They are managed by Dougie Samuel. They were formed in 1951 by ex-players of Edinburgh University and the original intention was to field a team of graduates of the university. However, they have players from elsewhere as well. They play at Ainslie Park and wear white shirts, red shorts and white socks.

Pilton is a residential area of north Edinburgh, Scotland. It is to the north of Ferry Road, west of Granton and immediately east of Muirhouse. Pilton consists of two, mostly council, housing schemes - West Pilton and East Pilton. These schemes are regarded as two of the most deprived schemes in Edinburgh and suffer from high crime rates and anti-social behaviour especially young joyriders stealing powerful motorbikes and cars, driving them recklessly round the scheme.
