The trail starts in the village of Celles. The origine of this village goes back from the second century during the Roman Empire. In the VII century a monastery was founded by the evangelist of St Adelin. The trail follows the river of La Lesse, which is the most beautiful part of this trail. It finishes at the same place, at the bottom of the village. Taking the car, you can see the castle of Vêves which was a fortified castle in the Middle age than became a Palace during the Renaissance time (+/- 1600).
