The Bank of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos Bankas) is the central bank of the Republic of Lithuania. The Bank of Lithuania is a member of the European System of Central Banks. The chairman of the bank is Vitas Vasiliauskas. Until 2015, the Bank of Lithuania was responsible for issuing the former Lithuanian currency, the litas.

The Cathedral Square in Vilnius (Lithuanian: Katedros aikštė) is the main square of the Vilnius Old Town, right in front of the neo-classical Vilnius Cathedral. It is a key location in city's public life, situated as it is at the crossing of the city's main streets and reflecting the city's diversity.

The Battle of Vilnius, Wilno, or Vilna was an attack by Russian and Cossack forces on Vilnius, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania within the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, that occurred on 8 August 1655 during the Russo-Polish War (1654–67). The Polish–Lithuanian forces under the leadership of hetman Janusz Radziwiłł were defeated by the Russian army of Alexis of Russia.

Our Lady of the Sign Church is an Eastern Orthodox church in the Žvėrynas district of Vilnius, built in 1903. The idea of building a new Orthodox church in Vilnius came from Orthodox Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit, which also organised a collection of funds in the whole Russian Empire. The church, constructed in the most popular Neo-Byzantine style, was consecrated in 1903 by Iuvenaliy, the Orthodox archbishop of Vilnius.

The Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola (Lithuanian: Šv. Ignoto katedra) also called Church of St. Ignatius (Šv. Ignoto bažnyčia) It is a religious building of the Catholic Church that serves as the cathedral of the military ordinariate in Lithuania, is located in the capital, Vilnius.

Museum of Energy and Technology (Lithuanian: Energetikos ir technikos muziejus) is an institution dedicated to researching and presenting the industrial heritage of Lithuania, and the history of Vilnius. It is housed in the former Vilnius Power Plant. At 5,000 square meters, this museum is the largest technical museum in Lithuania.

The Belarusian Gymnasium of Vilnia (Belarusian: Віленская беларуская гімназія) was an important Belarusian school in Vilnius. Many notable Belarusian cultural figures of the 20th century graduated from the school.

The Mindaugas Bridge (Lithuanian: Mindaugo tiltas) is a bridge in Vilnius, Lithuania. It crosses Neris River and connects Žirmūnai elderate with the Old Town of Vilnius. The bridge was named after Mindaugas, King of Lithuania, and was opened in 2003 during the celebrations of the 750th anniversary of Mindaugas' coronation.

The Lithuanian Space Association (LSA; Lithuanian: Lietuvos kosmoso asociacija, LKA) is a space organisation based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It is one of the partners that created the first two Lithuanian satellites.

The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (Lietuvos mokslų akademija) or LAS, founded in 1941 as the Lithuanian SSR Academy of Sciences (Lithuanian: Lietuvos TSR Mokslų akademija), as an autonomous, state-subsidized establishment serving as a scientific advisory body to the government of Lithuanian SSR. Following the 1991 passage of the Law on Research and Higher Education of the Republic of Lithuania, it was reorganized.
