Shinjuku to Nihonbashi

Nihonbashi (日本橋) is a business district of Chūō, Tokyo, Japan which grew up around the bridge of the same name which has linked two sides of the Nihonbashi River at this site since the 17th century. The first wooden bridge was completed in 1603. The current bridge, designed by Tsumaki Yorinaka and constructed of stone on a steel frame, dates from 1911.

The Currency Museum of the Bank of Japan (貨幣博物館, Kahei-hakubutsukan), formally known as the Currency Museum, Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies, Bank of Japan (日本銀行金融研究所貨幣博物館, Nihonginkō-kin'yū-kenkyūjo-kahei-hakubutsukan) is a museum about Japanese currency located in front of the Bank of Japan building in Chūō, Tokyo.

The Nihonbashi River (日本橋川, Nihonbashi-gawa) is a river which flows through central Tokyo, Japan. It is a distributary river of the Kanda River and flows into the Sumida River near the Eitai Bridge.The river is 4.8 km (3.0 mi) in length and passes through Chiyoda and Chuo wards. The river was created by a re-channeling of the former Hira River in the 15th Century at the direction of Ōta Dōkan to form a part of the external fortifications and water management plan for Edo Castle.

Kōjimachi (麹町 or 麴町) is a neighborhood in Chiyoda, Tokyo.Prior to the arrival of Tokugawa Ieyasu, it was known as Kōjimura (糀村). The area developed as townspeople settled along the Kōshū Kaidō. In 1878 Kōjimachi became a ward in the city of Tokyo. In 1947, it was merged with Kanda to form the modern special ward Chiyoda.

Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station (新宿御苑前駅, Shinjuku-gyoen-mae-eki, lit. "In front of Shinjuku Gyoen") is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. It is numbered "M-10".

Takebashi Station (竹橋駅, Takebashi-eki) is a station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Its station designation is T-08. It is located directly underneath the headquarters of the Mainichi Shimbun in the Palaceside Building and is directly adjacent to the northern edge of the Imperial Palace grounds.

In Shibuya, it is located in the Yoyogi and Sendagaya districts. Serving as the main connecting hub for rail traffic between Tokyo's special wards and Western Tokyo on inter-city rail, commuter rail, and subway lines, the station was used by an average of 3.64 million people per day in 2007, making it, by far, the world's busiest transport hub (and registered as such with Guinness World Records).
