The castle of Beersel was built in the 1300. Destroyed few times by wars during the succession of Brabant and the revolt. It served to protect Brussels among other castles built around the area. The trail starts from the parking but careful as few spaces are available and blue disk is required.
Part of the trail is not very exciting as you’ll drop in an industrial zone followed by a part of Brussels suburbs. Ending in a quite stiff slope. Not the best trail except for the castle.
