Higher School of Economics (HSE; Russian: «Высшая школа экономики», НИУ ВШЭ), official full name National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russian: Национальный исследовательский университет «Высшая школа экономики») is a state university in Russia. One of Russia's youngest, largest and leading universities, as of 2019 it was ranked 3rd in Russia in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking, 8th in the QS World University Ranking and 10th in the ARWU.

The Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (Russian: Московское училище живописи, ваяния и зодчества, МУЖВЗ) was one of the largest educational institutions in Russia. The school was formed by the 1865 merger of a private art college, established in Moscow in 1832, and the Palace School of Architecture, established in 1749 by Dmitry Ukhtomsky.

The Lycée Français Alexandre Dumas de Moscou (Russian: Французский лицей в Москве) is the French international school in Krasnoselsky District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia. The school serves levels preschool through terminale, the final year of senior high school.

Bolshaya Lubyanka Street is a radial street in Moscow's Central Administrative Okrug. The street runs north-east from Lubyanka Square to Sretenka Gates Square on the Boulevard Ring. The path of Bolshaya Lubyanka is continued by Sretenka Street (to Garden Ring), Mira Avenue and Yaroslavskoye Shosse and is the starting stretch of the route of M8 highway ("Kholmogory"), connecting Moscow to Sergiyev Posad, Yaroslavl, Vologda, and Arkhangelsk.

The Church of St. Louis of the French (Russian: Храм Святого Людовика Французского) is a Roman Catholic church in Moscow, built 1790–91. It is located in the neighborhood of the Lubyanka, in the city center. The church was founded by and belongs to the French parish of the same name.

Sretensky Boulevard (Russian: Сретенский Бульвар) is a major boulevard in central Moscow of important cultural significance, a part of the Boulevard Ring encircling the centre of the city. Sretensky Boulevard's northern end is at Lubyanka Street and Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, and its southern end is at Turgenevskaya Square, where it becomes Chistoprudny Boulevard.

Rozhdestvensky Boulevard (Russian: Рождественский Бульвар, Roschdestvensky Boulevard) is a major boulevard in Meshchansky District of Moscow, Russia. It begins at Trubnaya Square (west) and ends at Sretenka Gates in the same district (completing the Boulevard Ring link from Petrovsky Boulevard to Sretensky Boulevard.

Turgenevskaya (Russian: Турге́невская) is a station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro.

Sretensky Monastery (Russian: Сретенский монастырь) is an Orthodox monastery in Moscow, founded by Grand Prince Vasili I in 1397. It used to be located close to the present-day Red Square, but in the early 16th century it was moved northeast to what is now Bolshaya Lubyanka Street. The Sretensky Monastery gave its name to adjacent streets and byways, namely Sretenka Street, Sretensky Boulevard, Sretensky Lane, Sretensky Deadend, and Sretensky Gates Square.
