Fleetwood is a coastal town in Lancashire, England, at the northwest corner of the Fylde, with a population of 25,939 at the 2011 census.Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur.

Rossall Point Observation Tower is an observation tower in Fleetwood, Lancashire, England. The four-storey 46-foot-high (14 m) tower was completed in March 2013. It is also used as a beacon and was designed by Studio Three Architects.Located on the sand dunes between Cleveleys and Fleetwood, the tower's second floor is a base for the National Coastwatch Institution and its top level provides an open observation deck on its top level for the general public and bird watchers.

School
Rossall School is a British, fee paying co-educational, independent school, between Cleveleys and Fleetwood, Lancashire. Rossall was founded in 1844 by St Vincent Beechey as a sister school to Marlborough College which had been founded the previous year. Its establishment was "to provide, at a moderate cost, for the sons of Clergymen and others, a classical, mathematical and general education of the highest class, and to do all things necessary, incidental, or conducive to the attainment of the above objects." Along with Cheltenham, Lancing and Marlborough, Rossall was part of a flurry of expansion in education during the early Victorian period.
