Cube houses (Dutch: Kubuswoningen) are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof": high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level, since its main purpose is to optimise the space inside.

The Witte Huis (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌʋɪtə ˈɦœys]) or White House is a building and National Heritage Site in Rotterdam, Netherlands, built in 1898 in the Art Nouveau style. The building is 43 m (141 ft) tall, with 10 floors. It was also the first hoogbouw (literally: high-rise building) in Europe.

Rotterdam Blaak is a railway and metro station in Rotterdam, Netherlands located on the Breda–Rotterdam railway between Rotterdam Centraal and Dordrecht. The station is located in the centre of the city, near the cube houses and the Markthal.On 2 May 1877 the first railway station on this location was opened, then called Rotterdam Beurs.
