Oh,wow! I am not what words I can use to aptly describe this iconic landmark which I am sure is set in the vivid imagination and bucket list of everyone who read / watched “The Da Vinci Code”; its anterior facade is highlighted with the usual emblem of modern architecture, and if you weren’t initially aware of its idealised mystique, you would be forgiven for thinking that it is just another one of the various majestic churches scattered around on every corner in Edinburgh. The real magic is of course behind it, and as we are led to believe in other crevices that are prohibited from common eyes or knowledge.....
There are caves, huge rocks, covered up trenches, fences, waterfalls, a caravan park, residential dwellings, converted castle grounds, old relics of something that was of obvious significance sometime ago and certainly a military heritage-yes, there is certainly something about Rosslyn; I am just not sure how to describe it name it, other than suffice to say, I appreciated spontaneously riveting in its direction and taking a bit of time to enjoy explore.
