Trilha do Sul de Lykken

This is an amazing hike with panoramic views ⛰ is perfect has moderate inclination is one of my favorites here in the desert.

I only went half way because it ends up at the south trail end and need to walk back to beginning. I don’t like the downhill much from the start at Mesquite. Prefer less rocky downhill.

Enjoyable if you leave a car at each end. A lot of flat land after the initial start, about one mile, on S Palm Canyon. On the decline towards Taquitz Canyon the trail is slippery with loose dirt. Also you can no longer park at the visitor center but can park down the road on Mesquite.

Love this trail. Be careful because it’s a long a steep cliff but it was amazing!
