This is not suitable for pedestrians under construction. There is not enough signs to warn people about getting lost. It is very very hot, definitely not suitable for children, pets, elderly and people who do not come prepared for the summer heat. You can get trapped for miles by a construction banner that does not let you bail out of the trail. There are no water fountains.

Such a great walking trail! It’s easy, always clean/well maintained, and has plenty of shaded areas throughout. Absolutely beautiful scenery - the new Eastern Glands area is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend to walkers and runners.

One of Houston’s best walking and jogging trails. It’s a 3 mile loop but you can do as little or as much of it as you like. The newly developed (in 2020) Eastern Glades offers over 5 acres of additional trails, beautiful serene lake, boardwalks and lush grassy lawns for picnics or daydreaming.
