Princes St ➡️ Castelo 🏰 Terraço 🚶‍♀️🍁🍃🚶🏰

Start from Princes Street near Waverley Stn and walk your way up along Princes St right up Castle Terrace. You have the park on one side and the numerous shopping haunts on the other. As you pace, walk on the side by the park and enjoy the view if you prefer to be nearer to nature, or, on the other side if you prefer maneuvering pass the human traffic, great either way. You will pass by the Church, Cemetery and Edinburgh Castle. Gradual elevation as you head up but very manageable. I simply love this route and walk it many times over on both sides.
