The route uses Los Gatos Creek, Flume and Jones trails. Route is paved and relatively flat from Vasona Lake until after crossing the pedestrian bridge that crosses over SR-17, near the Old Town Center. Route is tree-lined. Restrooms at Helm Field and after you cross Alma Bridge Rd. There are steep climbs on Flume and Jones Trails.
