You begin the trail by the Discovery Center, then you take the Zoo Walkway down, and turn around for a peaceful walk through the gorgeous Wildflower Gardens! After that, you cross the parking lot and take the Mill Mountain Greenway to the Roanoke Star. This is a short walk that is perfect for beginners!
