Die Wanderung beginnt beim Strandbad Auslikon. Man wandert über einen komfortablen Pfad rund um den Pfäffikersee, durch eine bezaubernde Seeuferlandschaft mit hohen Schilfgürteln und prächtigen Moorlandschaften. Die Wanderung kann zu jeder Jahreszeit und bei fast jedem Wetter unternommen werden. Sehenswert sind der Juckerhof bei Seegräben, ein Erlebnisbauernhof mit Laden, sowie das Pfahlbauer Kastell bei Irgenhausen, ein guterhaltenes Denkmal der römischen Zeit. Für eine entspannte Rast gibt es unterwegs sowohl Restaurants wie auch lauschige Plätzchen in der Natur. Wer sich zwischendurch oder danach abkühlen möchte, Bad Seegräben, Badi Pfäffikon oder Strandbad Auslikon liegen direkt am Weg. Ein Naturerlebnis mit vielfältigen Angeboten.

Irgenhausen Castrum is a Roman fort at Irgenhausen, situated on Pfäffikersee lake shore in Switzerland. It was a square fort, measuring 60 metres (197 ft) in square, with four corner towers and three additional towers. The remains of a stone wall in the interior were probably a spa.
