The pretty Swiss town of Luzern . You can walk around the whole lake in stages. For the best fondue with views visit the boat restaurant Wilhelm Tell. Highlight on the walk today is the 14th century wooden carved Chapel Bridge, beautifully restored after a fire some years ago. Catch a ferry and cable car to hike one of the many surrounding spectacular mountains
