Abbey of Villers-la-ville was destroyed after the French Revolution (1789). Belgium was then more conservative than France. We also had our own revolution but that’s a different story. Anyway, a good walk around the area. A lot up and down hills and some parts were very muddy, so good walking shoes are required.
