Go up to Oak Park Boulevard, turn and walk north on Church to Pepper Elementary, cross and head south on Church to Shepherd Park. Walk clockwise around the park and south past the hill. Take in all the sights and sounds. Very peaceful on the weekend. Be careful on weekday mornings and afternoons during the school year, students going to and from Pepper Elementary and Oak Park High School.
