Parts of path are paved; other parts are gravel or sand. Diverse urban environment but almost all near the water. For part of it, you will have to navigate thru a shopping plaza and apartment complex. There are a couple of options for crossing over to the opposing side (bridges). Options to customize the length of your route. You could end by going to downtown Tempe and get breakfast! Parking is plentiful and cheap. This is on the flight path for Sky Harbor- one of the busiest airports in the US. (14th); 33rd in the world. Air traffic is constant. I clocked 3.14 miles around. It’s one of of favorite go-to’s!
