Charlestown is a ward in the suburban north of the city of Manchester, England. The population of the ward at the 2011 census was 14,332. Voters from this ward elect three councillors to Manchester City Council.The Ward lies mostly within the lower part of the suburb of Blackley, with Blackley Golf club acting as the ward boundary.

Greengate is an industrial district in the town of Chadderton in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester.It is located in the south west of Chadderton, close to the town's common borders with Middleton to the west and Moston in the City of Manchester which lies to the south.For postal purposes Greengate lies within the Manchester postal district (M24, Middleton).

Co-op Academy North Manchester, formerly known as Manchester Creative and Media Academy, is a secondary school located in Blackley, Manchester, UK. First established in 2009, the school relocated to a brand new building in 2012 costing about £3.5 Million. The school offers high school education from year 7–11.

Junction Mill, Middleton Junction is a cotton spinning mill at Middleton Junction, Chadderton, Greater Manchester, alongside the Rochdale Canal.It was built in 1874 by the Junction Spinning Company Ltd. Bought by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s. Closed in 1955 and now in multiple use.

White Moss is an area lying on the common borders of the City of Manchester and the towns of Middleton and Chadderton in Greater Manchester.White Moss is an extensive area of former wetlands and farms, now bisected by the M60 motorway and the arterial road Victoria Avenue from east to west. The part of White Moss north of the motorway lies partially in both Alkrington in the town of Middleton and the town of Chadderton to the west of Greengate.

North Manchester Rugby Club (aka North Manchester RUFC) is an amateur sports club situated 5 miles north of the centre of Manchester. It is the only rugby union club in the city of Manchester north of the centre. Established originally in 1921 in Prestwich, the club moved to its Tudor Lodge ground in Moston in 1985.

St Michael's Church is in Townley Street, Middleton, Greater Manchester, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Heywood and Middleton, the archdeaconry of Rochdale, and the diocese of Manchester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Tonge is a residential and industrial area of Middleton in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester. It lies on the east side of Middleton between the town centre and its border with Chadderton in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham.Tonge was formerly a township in its own right, until the area was incorporated into the Municipal Borough of Middleton as part of local government reforms in the late 19th century.

Middleton Junction railway station was on the Caldervale Line, from 1842 until closure on 3 January 1966. It was located at Lane End in Chadderton, a former hamlet which later adopted the place-name Middleton Junction after the area expanded after the opening of the railway. It was opened on 31 March 1842 by the Manchester and Leeds Railway, whose chief engineer was George Stephenson, as part of the branch to Oldham Werneth.
