Wonderful legacy left by the parks namesake, John Topits. As an amateur biologist Iove walking these trails twice daily. The lakes are regularly stocked with rainbow trout. A smaller one in last pic. Wildlife, wildflowers, in the city of Coos Bay, OR. Helps me get my daily paces in, such a nice place. Pups love it too
Always a great way to get som exercise in a pleasant environment — lakes, forest trails, interesting path network all close to home.
