Follow the AT north past shelter (about 5000 steps) continuing up the mountain to the Hosack Run trail. Follow this trail until it ends at Locust Gap trail. Turn right onto Locust Gap trail and follow it back to to AT trail. Go south on AT back to the Caledonia parking area
