This is a good little hike to just get yourself acquainted with a bad scenario that you may have to hike at night. Use a trail or trails that you know very well that you can close your eyes and do. Those are the trails you want to do something like this with so you don’t get lost at night. Navigating at night is a big difference then navigating at daylight. This is why I do these just to keep myself sharp just in case.
