Lani lun 16 maggio

Lani was sound asleep. She didn’t hear the trash and recycle cans rolling up the driveway. And she didn’t respond when I called her name from the gate. I saw her laying next to the house in the shade as I picked up her leash. She slowly got up, stretched and looked quizzically at me. She let me attach the leash. And then she went to the spot behind the water bowl and looked at me. We finally got going after she was able to clear the cobwebs. Outside, she took a moment to pee and a little later to poop. The rest of the walk was the usual routine. She stopped here and there to pee and other places to sniff the scents. She growled as we pass a smaller white Huskie across the street. But she stopped as soon as I got on her and directed her back on the sidewalk. She wanted to rest in the shade a couple of times near the end but we didn’t stop and she did fine completing the walk before resting. Back home, she went to the spot behind the bowl and sat regally waiting and hoping for a treat. I took her picture and gave her a treat. She then had some water.
