Mainly road running, with a small mix of trail running. Gentle hills, just enough to keep the run interesting and challenging. Beautiful views of Moonstone Beach the entire run. The run starts at the boardwalk just northwest of Hotel El Colibri. As you pass the beach parking lot run next to the road, not on the boardwalk, due to walkers that will slow you down. Continue running north on Moonstone until you reach Highway 1. Then turn around and run back. Nice 5 K route.
