Aldershvile slotspark ia public park in Bagsværd, Gladsaxe Municipality, situated on the south side of Bagsværd Lake in the northwestern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally laid out as the Romantic gardens of a country house, Aldershvile, the park still contains the ruins of the main building, which was destroyed in a fire in 1909.

Sophienholm is a former manor house and exhibition venue located north on the shore of Lake Bagsværd in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality in the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark.The main building was originally a country home built in 1769 by Johan Theodor Holmskiold who named the house after his wife Sophie Holmskjold.

Lake Bagsværd is a lake in northeastern Zealand, Denmark. After Furesø, it is the second largest lake in the Mølleå system. The lake is an appendix to the Mølleåen via Furå further on to Lyngby Lake.The water quality in the lake is not suited for swimming as the lake still receives spillover from three outlets from the public sewer system.

Bagsværd (Danish pronunciation: [ˈpɑwˌsveˀɐ̯]) is a middle-class suburb approximately 12 km northwest of central Copenhagen, in the Gladsaxe Municipality. Its center is dominated by the Bagsværd Towers, two high-rise apartment blocks. The suburb is connected by S-Train and has three stations: Skovbrynet, Bagsværd, and Stengården.

Christianelyst is a listed house situated on the northern shore of Bagsværd Lake in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Neoclassical property consists of a main wing and two side wings surrounding three sides of a courtyard which is open to the north. The garden to the south of the house slopes down towards the lake.

Marienborg has been the official residence of Denmark's prime minister since 1962. It is frequently used for governmental conferences, summits and other official purposes, including the prime minister's new year speech. Unlike the residences of other heads of government and state (e.g. the White House, 10 Downing Street, La Moncloa and Élysée Palace), Marienborg does not serve as the government headquarters or contain the office of the prime minister, instead Christiansborg Palace is the location of the government departments.
