Powell Butte Hike - all'inizio della primavera

Powell Butte is a hill on the south-eastern side of Portland. The open spaces on top of this hill used to be part of a dairy operation. Mountain views are to be seen all over. Most prominent are Mt Hood to the east, and Mt St Helens to the north. The hill side on the south and west sides is a typical western oregon forest with cedar and douglas fir trees.
