Da Teigngrace alla pista ciclabile di Bovey lungo la vecchia ferrovia

Start from Teigngrace cp and pick up the cycle track near the Stover Canal. Interesting history of the Templer Family, George Templer built the tramway on Dartmoor to bring granite down via the Canal to Teignmouth and on ships to London for building London Bridge and the British Museum. The Tramway is 200 years old in 2020. Follow the flat track through to Bovey Tracey and over the new cycle bridge. You can go to beautiful Lustleigh, it’s quite steep but a lovely old Devon chocolate box village with a beautiful community orchard and great Pub, The Cleave. Or, they are improving the route to Moretonhampstead a lovely town with shops and pubs.
