This is a short, paved loop with a nice little playground that’s usually pretty quiet. It’s relatively flat and perfectly suitable for strollers and scooters. Unless there is a game going on at the baseball/softball fields there’s generally very few people here. Hours: Park closes at dusk. Facilities: This park is part of the West Whiteland Township park system. For facilities reservations you can check their website. Playground - the playground is suitable for toddlers. Basic stuff like slides, climbing ladders, and swings. Shade- There is not much shade along the loop but there is a little pavilion near the playground that can provide shade to rest in. Bathrooms and water - There are public bathrooms and water fountains near the playground as well. Fields - The baseball/softball fields require a reservation. Events - there is a former home which was converted into a public meeting space which you can use to hold events, by reservation. Dogs: This park used to have a no dog policy but as of my last visit in 2018 they had relaxed this for all parks in the township and several people were walking dogs there. They must be leashed. Transportation: Parking is plentiful onsite. Car access and exiting from Boot Road is easy for either direction as there is a stoplight. Pedestrian access from nearby neighborhoods like Woodlands, Indian King, Colwyn Terrace, etc., is technically possible but you need to walk along Boot Road for a few hundred yards. Boot Road along this stretch is very busy and does not have sidewalks, so I don’t really recommend walking here. There is an unofficial and unmarked foot path that connects the park to the Banbury neighborhood to the south, but I believe it goes through private property so I cannot vouch for it. You also won’t find it on any map. Nearby: There is a WaWa and CVS at the intersection of Boot Road and Pottstown Pike. It’s only a hundred yards or so from the park entrance but there are no sidewalks so walking there is not a good idea.
