Boucle de Llangollen 40 km

6-10hour loop starting at Horseshoe Falls, taking in Llangollen canal, Dinas Bran Castle, Eglwyseg escarpment, Worlds end, and ends with bagging a few peaks with some spectacular views. This loop allows for downhill bailouts en-route, so it can easily be ended early should anyone need to drop out. Caution : Over 1km in Elevation gains, This route backwards only increases the difficulty. At least B1 Walking shoes required, trainers not recommended but is doable after a dry spell of weather. Lots of parking at the start, Ponderosa Café is around the 20km mark, ends next to Hand Bridge hotel, only 1mile from Llangollen centre.
