Kedron Brook flows through many suburbs along its full length, including Stafford, Grange, Lutwyche, Wooloowin, Kalinga Park, Toombul and Hendra before it empties into the Schulz Canal, which flows into Moreton Bay at Nudgee Beach. The river descends 220 metres (720 ft) over its 29-kilometre (18 mi) course (for those brave enough to perform the entire walk (end to end). The Kedron Brook Bikeway portion stretches for almost 20 kilometres (one way) from Mitchelton to Nundah using a mixture of off-road shared pathways and separated bikeways. There are very few park benches along this stretch and zero water fountains so come prepared with something to drink.
