Grand Union Canal

The Greensand Ridge Walk is a long-distance walk of 40 miles (64 km) that traverses the county of Bedfordshire in England, with brief sections in the neighbouring counties of Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire. Its southern endpoint is at Leighton Buzzard and the route runs north-east to finish at Gamlingay.

Linslade is an English town located on the Bedfordshire side of the Bedfordshire-Buckinghamshire border (and roughly a third-way between London and Birmingham). It borders the town of Leighton Buzzard, with which it forms the civil parish of Leighton-Linslade (where the 2011 Census population was included).

Linslade Tunnel is a railway tunnel in Bedfordshire, England, on the West Coast Main Line about 0.54 miles (0.9 km) north of Leighton Buzzard railway station and built under Linslade Woods. The tunnel is unusual as it has a slight bend in its alignment.

Leighton–Linslade is a civil parish in the district of Central Bedfordshire in Bedfordshire, England, with a population of 37,469 at the 2011 Census.It consists of the settlements of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade, which have a single town council. The River Ouzel provides the border between the parts, with Leighton to the east and Linslade to the west.

It comprised the single civil parish of Leighton-Linslade.Leighton-Linslade UD was created on 1 April 1965 coinciding with an adjustment to county boundaries which led to the disbanding of Leighton Buzzard Urban District in Bedfordshire and Linslade Urban District in Buckinghamshire.

Linslade was an urban district in the administrative county of Buckinghamshire, England from 1897 to 1965. It comprised the single civil parish of Linslade which prior to 1897 was part of Wing Rural District and had been part of the Leighton Buzzard Rural Sanitary District until 1894.As part of a county boundary change in 1965 Linslade UD was abolished along with Leighton Buzzard Urban District in Bedfordshire and the new Bedfordshire urban district of Leighton-Linslade was created.
