Windsor Great Park

The Copper Horse is a statue marking one end of the Long Walk at Snow Hill in Windsor Great Park in the English county of Berkshire. According to contemporary newspapers, His Majesty, King George IV, in January 1821, ordered "a full length statue in bronze of George III to be erected on the top of Snow Hill, Windsor Park, with his hand pointing towards his favourite residence, Windsor Castle".

Windsor Great Park is a Royal Park of 2,020 hectares (5,000 acres), including a deer park, to the south of the town of Windsor on the border of Berkshire and Surrey in England. The park was, for many centuries, the private hunting ground of Windsor Castle and dates primarily from the mid-13th century.

The Royal Lodge is a Grade II listed house in Windsor Great Park in Berkshire, England, half a mile north of Cumberland Lodge and 3.2 miles (5.1 km) south of Windsor Castle. It was the Windsor residence of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from 1952 until her death in 2002. Since 2004, it has been the official country residence of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and ex wife, Sarah, Duchess of York

Cumberland Lodge is a 17th-century Grade II listed country house in Windsor Great Park 3.5 miles south of Windsor Castle. It is now occupied by a charitable foundation which holds residential conferences, lectures and discussions. The gardens of Cumberland Lodge are Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

The Royal Chapel of All Saints or Queen Victoria's Chapel is a Grade II listed church in the grounds of the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, Berkshire, England. The chapel is situated in the grounds of Royal Lodge. The chapel is a Royal Peculiar, and serves as an informal parish church for the inhabitants and staff of the Windsor Great Park.

Windsor Forest and Great Park is a 1,778.9-hectare (4,396-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Berkshire and Surrey, located south of Windsor. It is a Special Area of Conservation and Windsor Forest is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I. Landscaped woodland gardens are Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest.

Windsor was a rural district in Berkshire, England from 1894 to 1974.It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 as a successor to the Windsor rural sanitary district. It consisted of the parishes of Clewer Without, Old Windsor, Sunningdale, and Sunninghill. Clewer Without was absorbed into the borough of New Windsor in 1920.

Y Bwthyn Bach ("The Little Cottage") is a royal wendy house standing close to Royal Lodge within Windsor Great Park in England since 1932.The two-thirds scale thatched cottage was a gift to Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain) from the people of Wales and placed in the grounds of Royal Lodge.
