This is a fairly easy trail. Even if you are not in the best of shape you should be able to go the 1.5 miles to the falls and back. Nice walk \hike through the woods. Cross the creek a couple times before getting to the falls.
If it is fall, winter or spring the falls should be running fairly well. There are wooden stairs that take you below the falls and you can walk out on boulders to get some nice photos.
It is 3 miles round trip from Savage Gulf Ranger Station but I forgot to set the GPS.
