Pastel de jengibre jueves 9 de septiembre

Ginger brings so much happiness with all her excited wiggles. We had to say our “hellos” before getting the harness and leash on. And then off she went, for of exploring vigor for the first 10 minutes or so. Her nose was very busy investigating the scents in the grass and bushes around the greenbelts. She also used the opportunity to poop. And she peed a few times. Then we headed into the neighborhood to the south and east, all the way to Taper Ave School. She walked quickly along the sidewalks until she found spots that might have good scents to check out. As we approached home, she encountered a large raccoon. They both started to snarl from the surprised encounter. But then Ginger seemed to ignore it as the raccoon scooted away and climbed the corner of the condo to hide on the roof behind the chimney. And we got home without any other excitement. She got some water and laid down on the carpet, on her back, to rest.
